Tutor application

Teach the subjects you know first-hand.

We review every application personally. Your information is used only for recruitment and safeguarding.

Four things happen before anyone teaches, and none of them is optional. A live interview with us, which the platform now requires before a profile can be listed or a student assigned. Your subject grades checked against the certificate. An enhanced DBS check including the children’s barred list. Then a profile we approve. Most of our work this term is Oxbridge interview preparation, so the interview is also where we find out how you teach a candidate who has stalled.

Your own admissions interview

Families come to us because their tutor sat the interview their child is about to sit, recently, at the same college. So we need to know about yours rather than assume it from your year of study. We check these answers against your offer letter or college email before any of it is shown to a parent, and nothing here is published on your profile until we have. Leave it blank if you did not sit one: it is not a requirement to tutor with us.

The suggestions are Cambridge's and Oxford's own course names. Picking one lets us count how many of our tutors sat a given interview. Anywhere else, type your course in full and we will read it.

Admissions tests, US tests and olympiads

Please only tick exams you have actually sat or taught. We ask to see certificates before we put anyone in front of a student for one.
